Lodi is close enough that Three Brothers Auto Repair barely feels like "going to the shop" at all — we're practically next-door neighbors via Route 17, about 4 miles and 10 minutes from Main Street. That means you can drop the car off on your way to work, walk home or grab a ride, and go about your day without renting a car or rearranging your whole schedule around a repair.
Since you're only about ten minutes away via Route 17, most Lodi customers just drop the car in the morning on their way to work — Main Street or the Route 17 retail strip, doesn't matter, it's a short trip either way. We call you with a quote before we touch anything, so there's no guessing what the repair will cost once you've already handed over the keys. Most jobs are done the same day, and since you're close enough to walk home, grab a ride, or have someone swing by, there's usually no need to sit around waiting or line up a rental.
If the shop's closed when you need to drop off, we've got an after-hours key drop so you're not stuck waiting for us to open. Pick-up works the same way in reverse — swing back after work, or send someone to grab the car once we've called to say it's ready. For anything more involved, take a look at our pricing page or just contact us and we'll walk you through it.
Being this close means most of what we see from Lodi drivers isn't highway wear — it's the wear and tear that comes from short, stop-start trips around town. Engines that never fully warm up on the quick run down Main Street, batteries that don't get enough drive time to recharge properly, and electrical systems that struggle as a result are all common. We also see a lot of brake wear from the constant starting and stopping near Felician University and the local side streets.
The roads around the Route 17 retail strip and Lodi's residential streets aren't always kind to tires either, so tire repair and alignment work comes up often. Combine short trips with pothole season and you'll also see more suspension and steering issues than you'd expect for such a short commute. If something's acting up, regular scheduled maintenance catches most of this before it becomes a bigger repair.
